surah An Nisa verse 26-30

Translation:

26. Allah wishes to make clear (what is lawful and what is unlawful) to you, and to show you the ways of those before you, and accept your repentance, and Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.
27. Allah wishes to accept your repentance, but those who follow their lusts, wish that you (believers) should deviate tremendously away from the Right Path.
28. Allah wishes to lighten (the burden) for you; and man was created weak
29. O you who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you.
30. And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allah.

Explanation

The guidance in the Holy Quran is the word of the Most Knowledgeable Who wants to teach us the proper mode of life as adopted by the pious and noble people before us, to inform us about actions and deeds that please Him and those that displease Him. Those who are slaves to their desires wish the same for the believers i.e. that they also succumb to their desires rather than act according to the commands of Allah. The Mercy and Graciousness of Allah is being indicated in verse 27 and 28. Allah wants to help us and put us on the right track, He wants to make things easy for us. But it’s the slavery to desires and lusts that drives us further and further away from His mercy. Verse 28 may imply a number of meanings in the sense that Allah wants to relax the restrictions on us for instance for ablution the relaxation of Tayammun is provided. Similarly for Salah, the relaxation of Qaza is provided. Allah wants to make things easy for us but when we succumb to our personal desires, then we end up burdening our own selves because humans are weak emotionally, physically and mentally.
In verse 29 the believers are being told to not engage in any activities that may involve the unfair and unjust possession of someone else’s property and wealth. The only way to possess someone else’s property and wealth is in the case of a trade where a mutual agreement on the transaction exists. The wrong means of acquiring wealth and property include but are not limited to :
·                  Earning interest (Riba)
·                          All transactions is which profit is guaranteed for one of the party
·                  Sales where the defects of the product being sold are not revealed
·                          Transactions of Haraam(impermissible ) goods
·                  Adultery in measurements etc
The verse goes on to command the believers to not kill one another and to not commit suicide. And whoever abstains from these evils, Allah is no doubt merciful on him. And whoever engages in the aforementioned forbidden activities then Allah will throw him in the Hell fire and no doubt doing this is very easy for Him.
